Hi, I'm Kayleigh, the baker and chief mess-maker behind Batched & Gone.

I taught myself to bake on maternity leave about 10 years ago and somehow ended up the family's go-to baker. That baby's 10 now and still first in the queue to nick the chocolate chips.

Since then it's grown into a proper obsession with big, gooey, American-style cookies. The kind you break open and they actually ooze.

I love flavours that feel a bit nostalgic, cookies that never hang around long, and bakes that get a "wait, you made this?"

Everything's made in small batches in my home kitchen here in Leeds, loaded up and baked fresh.
